1,000 Books Before Kindergarten

Greenfield Public Library is excited to have our own 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten program (1,000 Books Before Kindergarten is a registered trademark of the 1000 Books Foundation, used with permission). This program is a free, nationwide challenge to get parents, guardians, and caregivers reading to young children. By reading with your child, you are promoting early literacy development, forming bonds with your child, and encouraging a lifelong relationship with books and reading. Activities are targeted for children 1 to 4 years of age. Children are welcome to stay to an open play time following.
